Infinite experiences the shed cafe and cottages maintains two cottages, both of which are open plan, tastefully furnished with a queen size wooden bed, the decor provides a feeling of warmth and cosiness . The lounge forms part of the open plan floor space, with vaulted wooden ceilings and a muted caramel colour scheme throughout encouraging the guest to relax and unwind whilst sitting in front of the fire with their favourite book. The cottages sit isolated in the surrounding gardens, with only minimal contact with other guests and therefore guests are left to their own devices to while away the time with a book or alternatively explore the 10 acres of gardens and rugged hill tops. Year round the gardens attract a wide variety of birdlife; parrots of all colours, tiny wrens, currawongs and not to forget the brilliant cockatoos, flying out of the valley to graze and returning at the end of the day for a safe haven to roost. The trees are magnificent, consisting of eucalypts, some of which were planted well over a hundred years ago, conifers and other exotics which provide a vivid display of colour during autumn. The garden abounds with roses, lavender and annuals. Externally the buildings give off a real cottage feel, each has a furnished veranda, to allow guests to sit and view the adjacent gardens and birdlife. The bathroom is comfortable enough for two people to share and the decor changes to reds and creams providing a feeling of warmth as you step from the glass shower cubicle. Each cottage has a fridge, microwave and tea and coffee facilities, keeping the drinks cold in the summer and warm in the winter. When it gets cold, the fires will be lit and guests can get just a hint of the smell of wood smoke wafting through the trawool valley. The mighty goulburn river flows a short distance from our door step and encourages people to stop and bide their time, to consider the majesty of one of victorias most regal of rivers.
