General Membership with the Seymour Racing Club is an affordable way to appreciate all the season’s quality racing action. Seymour also boasts excellent training facilities, with three training tracks as well as access to the course proper. The training tracks consist of two sand tracks, one for speedy and one for slow work, and a artificial track for galloping. Currently the Club sees more than 100 horses trained each morning, Seymour hopes to increase this number. Seymour Racing Club owners’ facilities have recently seen a large refurbishment. On raceways owners and trainers can receive advantage of the fresh roomy owners room, watching the race day action on screen while relaxing in comfort. Entry Conditions It is a condition of entry that no prohibited Goods are brought on to the racecourse premises. Specifically, patrons are advised that the Seymour Racing Club does not permit for exterior caterers to supply food ardor beverages unless they are an approved subcontractor of the Club. The Club has the correct to conduct metal detector searches for any prohibited goods. If found the Clubs authorized representatives will not allow prohibited goods to be brought on to the racecourse premises and may also prohibit entry to the racecourse premises of any person found to be in possession of prohibited goods. Dress Standards apply to all areas of the Seymour Racecourse. While racing boasts level terms of competition and equal pay for equal performance, RV is committed to increasing female representation at all levels and roles within the sport to accomplish gender equality. Joe McNeil is equal fifth and out of prize contention, and is also no longer eligible for the Rising Stars races after graduating to being a senior jockey. I'm expecting a nice, glossy running race day of seven races on Saturday, and it's also Vietnam Veterans day so it's going to be a really massive day. Track manager Brett Thompson is thrilled with the results of the renovation, and is hopeful the new track will retain up well. Reeve also highlighted her hopes for the track being capable to grip transferred meetings in the winter months. We'll be qualified to take those meetings that can't run elsewhere because it's too wet, and I also expect that we'll get back to our 20 race meetings per year. As for this year's missed edition of the Seymour Cup, it's unlikely it will be run at a later date, however, the club are confident for a feature race day to be scheduled after autumn.
